The Church Pantry

Sharing the Love of Christ by providing food for those in need in the BrazosValley.

Nearly 70% of the food distribution Brazos Valley Food Bank does is thru partnering agencies. Those agencies include 22 food pantries that are spread out across the Brazos valley. Brazos Church Pantry is one of those agencies. Brazos Church Pantry gives food six days a week at their location in downtown Bryan. Their services require up to 15,000 pounds of food a week. This comes form the BVFB and donation from the partnering churches that give to the pantry. Christ's Way is a very generous part of this program providing food and donations each month.

Donations for The Food Pantry are collected every third Sunday of every month.

The School Ministry

The School Ministry at Christ's Way has been an ongoing ministry since the spring of 2014. The two schools at the heart of this ministry are Bowen Elementary & Kemp-Carver Elementary.

Ministry activities include:

-Prayer/praise box (located within the school).
-Daily prayer at the flagpole by a School Ministry member.
-Ice cream social during Kemp/Carver's teacher in-service in August.
-Luncheon during Bowen Elementary's teacher in-service in August.
-Teacher appreciation gifts.
-Treats throughout the school year.

We are blessed with the privilege to serve Bowen & Kemp/Carver Elementary and we look forward to what this ministry brings in the future.
